Lakshmi Krishnan Awarded Research Fellowship from National Endowment for the Humanities

On December 16, 2020, the National Endowment for the Humanities announced its grants to support different humanities projects. It awarded Lakshmi Krishnan a research fellowship to work on her book project, The Doctor and the Detective: A Cultural History of Diagnosis. Dr. Krishnan’s book will delve into the intersection of medical diagnoses and detective literature in England, France, and the U.S. from the nineteenth century to mid twentieth century.
