In this publication, the team of researchers that includes Julia Langley sought to identify overarching themes, outcomes and impacts of the Arts and Humanities Program at Georgetown University on artists and patients from the palliative medicine service. This qualitative study examined artists’ reflections that they wrote down throughout the experience, and uncovered common themes of these therapeutic interactions. The analysis demonstrated that the Arts and Humanities Program has had a meaningful impact not only for the patients, but has also had a true influence on the artists
