Art in Remediating Environmental, Social, and Health Injustices

Georgetown University Art Galleries, together with the Medical Humanities Initiative and the Lombardi Arts & Humanities Program, hosted an inspiring conversation regenerative land sculptor Jordan Weber, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones, and Georgetown Professor Dr. Amani C. Morrison. The discussion explored creative placemaking, democracy, and tools to combat societal inequities, and the conversation continued the next day with a Lunch & Learn program, where Weber shared deeper insights into his regenerative sculptural practice.
