Why I Chose Medical Humanities

Dori Rosenstrauch (CAS’27)

As a biology student, I was looking for a way to blend my passions for science and healthcare with my love of literature and media analysis. Medical Humanities offers a perfect opportunity for interdisciplinary research and coursework that allows me to utilize more traditionally humanities-focused skills in a way that incorporates my other intellectual interests.

I am currently enrolled in a Clinical Ethics course and am looking forward to researching access to healthcare for incarcerated individuals.

Interest: Performing stand-up comedy at open mics on campus and around DC!
