Jake Earl is a philosopher and bioethicist. He earned his doctorate in philosophy from Georgetown University in 2017 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in bioethics at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. He subsequently worked as a clinical ethicist at Inova Health System and as a bioethicist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. In addition to teaching at Georgetown, Jake currently serves as a bioethicist with the U.S. government. His scholarship addresses theoretical and practical issues in research ethics, clinical ethics, and reproductive ethics.
