Christopher King Will Be Honored at the National Association of Health Services Executives – Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter’s 2022 Healthcare Leaders Reception

In commemoration of the 51st United States Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF) Annual Legislative Conference, the National Association of Health Services Executives – Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter (NAHSE-WMAC) held its annual celebration of healthcare executives, the Healthcare Leaders Reception hosted on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the AC Hotel Navy Yard from 6 – 9 p.m.
During this illustrious event, they took the opportunity to recognize distinguished healthcare leaders for their contributions in their respective communities. The 2022 Distinguished Honorees were Christopher J. King, Dean, School of Health, Georgetown University; Kevin Dedner, Founder & CEO, Hurdle Health; Deneen M. Richmond, President, Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center; LaQuandra Nesbitt, Former Director, District of Columbia Department of Health; Roberta Tinch, President, Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and VP and Administrator, Inova Musculoskeletal Service Line; and Ruth Williams-Brinkley, President, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, Inc. The reception was attended by more than 150 healthcare professionals, elected officials, and business leaders from across the nation.
The National Association of Health Services Executives is an esteemed and influential body comprised of minority healthcare leaders representing organizations from across the United States. The Healthcare Leaders Reception serves as an opportunity for influential individuals to network and build future partnerships as we strive to promote the advancement of minorities in the healthcare sector and improvements to minority health.
