Dr. Christopher King presented the fifth session of the “Why Now Is a Good Time To Pursue a Masters in Health Systems Administration” series, in which the Georgetown University Department of Health Systems Administration focused on why now is a particularly good time to pursue the Masters of Science in Health Systems Administration (MHSA). Dr. Christopher King led a discussion on Integrating Racial Equity in Health System Performance, based on his experience teaching and contributing to practice and scholarship on the creation of equitable systems of care. He talked about how the Department of Health Systems Administration is creating spaces for health system professionals to reflect on the past and develop core competencies that normalize racial equity in healthcare delivery.
