Jacob Earl, PhD, MA

Jake Earl is a philosopher and bioethicist. He earned his doctorate in philosophy from Georgetown University in 2017 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in bioethics at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. He subsequently worked as a clinical ethicist at a level-1 trauma center and received a Healthcare Ethics Consultant Certification from the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities. In addition to teaching at Georgetown, Jake currently serves as a bioethicist at a military health research institute. His scholarship addresses theoretical and practical issues in research ethics, clinical ethics, and reproductive ethics.
